Merry Christmas!

Christmas is almost officially over and we hope all of our amazing clients, friends and families made some special moments together this Christmas season. Making memories with our girls is our favorite part about this time of year. They are only little once and there is no redo to their special childhood days filled with wonder and full belief. We have so much fun with it all, but most importantly we make sure to share with them over and over the true meaning of Christmas. Christ birth is why we celebrate and we do so by serving others, giving with a cheerful heart, and helping out those in need. I feel so incredibly blessed this year that we had so many opportunities to teach our girls in each of those roles. I know that this year their little hearts understood what it is to celebrate Jesus!
We also had some new fun excitement that filled the house with giggles this year. A little red elf, whom was given the name “Redbud” seemed to magically appear all throughout the house each morning. Alayna was sure to write in on her note to Santa that he might want to have a little talk with our friend…. she said he was a little naughty!

Lovely Ava… { Apex, NC child photographer }

I love doing sessions that have a specific theme around it! It’s fun to step out of the box sometimes and get a little more creative. Her mom (whom is sooo sweet and trusting of me!) loved the vintage session I did of my own girls last year at this location. It is also my Favorite session I have ever done of my girls. So I loaded my car up with all kinds of vintage things, and her mom brought some of her own things as well. Ava did fantastic….I just felt sorry for the poor girl because it was cold with like 20 mile/hr winds coming at her! Luckly she didn’t blow away and we got many great images that day. Lots more to come, pulled these out as I was sorting thru them. Oh, and if you ever want to do something fun and out of the box, let me know as we plan your session….I think you will be happy you did!

BatGirls…

This year our little yayhoos were dead set on both of them wanting to be Rapunzel for Halloween. But when we saw these darlings while walking thru the store…it was oh so clear. It was truly meant to be. Whitney of course steered toward pink, but Alayna stayed true: all black! I for one, was digging the batgirl costumes rather than the famous Tangled. It was very rainy and cold, but we managed to push through. All for the cause: Candy!!

Goldberg Family

This family I photographed earlier this summer, and I was so glad to see them again this fall. Miss Mya is a cutie and already a paid model! She had a gig just a while ago with a company that hired her to model their stuff. So, yeah…I’m working with model material.

Czekalski Family

This family was great! I have been meaning to blog these earlier, but it seems that since we got back from vacation things have been non-stop…like literally something going on EVERYDAY! Made myself sit at my computer all day today to try and get most of my work done. We have had a great response to our Christmas Anytime Mini Sessions. This is just one lovely family who took advantage of it and I have more families to post later that did as well!

Missing summer…already! { Fuquay Varina NC child photographer }

We are just into the beginning of fall, and even though it is in the 80s still, I have to admit I missing summer already! Maybe it’s just the “getting closer to winter” blues I have. Here are a few images taken over the summer that I didn’t get a chance to post. Goodbye summer!

A sister & a brother { Fuquay Varina family photography }

There is a sweet story that come along with these two, one that I can relate to. They just met for the first time this year ..and they are brother and sister. And what is even more amazing is that they only lived a few miles from each other! After about 26 years, I finally was able to get to know a brother of mine. Growing up I knew I had another brother out there, and because of that there always seemed to be a missing link to our family. I am very thankful that he is very much apart of our family now! Just like with these two, there is now a strong connection between us and we are certainly making up for loss time.
